Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most weathered version of this wine-red hydrographic finish. Edges and raised parts lose much of their paint, while flatter panels keep enough colour for the skin to stay recognisable. It gives a rugged, used look at the lowest grade available.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The handguard, receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock are covered in a wine-red base with a faint gunmetal grey camo mottling. The barrel, flash hider, front sight, scope and scope mount stay in dark metal, framing the red body.
The heaviest wear covers the handguard, magazine, grip and stock edges, with paint worn through on many raised parts. The receiver also shows scuffing beyond its edges. In game the rifle looks rough and patchy, but the red remains readable. The centres of the larger flat panels hold the most intact paint.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.637
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Red Jasper is 0–0.637; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.637 segment (29% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 8 skins of the G3SG1 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 7th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Gold, black and dark grey stickers sit well on the wine-red body and echo the gunmetal parts. Placements on the receiver side and stock keep stickers on the flat panels where the red is most even.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep tidier edges.
- Inspect the edges of the handguard and the corners of the magazine, as they lose paint first.
- On souvenir copies, look at the pre-applied stickers and decide whether they suit you.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers that change the look of the rifle.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
