Show allAllSkin overview
The wine-red body with its muted grey camo looks almost the same in Minimal Wear as in the cleanest grade. Any marks are small and sit on edges you rarely notice in a match. It suits buyers who want the full colour of the finish without paying for the top condition.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The handguard, receiver, magazine, pistol grip and stock are covered in a wine-red base with a faint gunmetal grey camo mottling. The barrel, flash hider, front sight, scope and scope mount stay in dark metal, framing the red body.
Tiny marks may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the corners of the magazine and the front of the handguard. They are hard to spot without inspecting the weapon closely. At normal distance in game it looks the same as Factory New. The flat panels of the receiver and stock stay clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Red Jasper is 0–0.637; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (13% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the G3SG1 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, black and dark grey stickers sit well on the wine-red body and echo the gunmetal parts. Placements on the receiver side and stock keep stickers on the flat panels where the red is most even.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep tidier edges.
- Inspect the edges of the handguard and the corners of the magazine, as they lose paint first.
- On souvenir copies, look at the pre-applied stickers and decide whether they suit you.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers that change the look of the rifle.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since the flat panels stay untouched.
- A sensible balance of looks and cost.
