Skin overview

The light, fractured hydrographic is the main thing that sets this Galil AR apart from darker rifles in the terrorist arsenal. In Minimal Wear the pattern reads almost the same as a factory copy, and any marks hide among the many small facets. For most buyers this is the practical choice for a clean look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, stock and magazine are covered in a polygonal hydrographic of white, light grey and darker grey facets that interlock like shards of broken glass. The front part of the barrel assembly and the gas tube carry the same pale pattern, while the bulky handguard, barrel, muzzle device, top rails and pistol grip stay black or dark grey.

Tiny marks may appear on the lower edge of the magazine and the butt of the stock, but they are hard to spot. The busy polygonal pattern hides small flaws well. At normal viewing distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The receiver and the front of the barrel assembly look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Galil AR | Shattered is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

White, silver and black stickers keep the cold monochrome look intact, while a single red or icy blue accent stands out well against the pale shards. Placements on the receiver side work best, since that area carries the most pattern and stays clean the longest.
