Skin overview

Blue Fissure is built on a crack pattern, so a bit of wear on this Glock-18 blends into the design rather than fighting it. In Field-Tested the blue slide starts losing paint along its edges and the muzzle, while the grey grip keeps its cracked texture. The result looks like a used sidearm that still reads clearly as blue on top and grey below.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is painted deep blue and covered with a fine black craquelure, like cracked enamel, with the blue carried down onto the muzzle face. The frame, trigger guard and grip are a muted lilac-grey with a darker network of cracks, and small blue flecks show through along the frame and the textured grip panel.

Scratches gather along the top and front edges of the slide and around the muzzle, and the rear serrations lose some blue. The blue on the flat sides of the slide gets slightly duller but stays solid. The frame and grip show only light rubbing on the raised areas, while the crack texture there is still clear. In game the blue top still dominates, with worn edges visible on closer look.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Blue Fissure is 0.06–0.58; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (44% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.

The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, white and silver stickers sit well on the blue slide and continue its cold palette. For contrast, small orange or gold accents work against the blue, while dark or grey stickers blend into the cracked frame.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float within the chosen grade, since a lower value keeps more blue on the slide edges and muzzle.
  • Check the muzzle, the top edge of the slide and the rear serrations, as these lose paint first.
  • Inspect the grip in close-up to see whether the crack texture and blue flecks are still intact.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the look of the slide.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want a blue Glock-18 for everyday use.
  • Buyers who like light wear that blends into the crack pattern.
  • Conclusion: a balanced middle option for play.
