The Glock-18 | Blue Fissure keeps its two-tone look here: a cobalt slide with black cracks over a lilac-grey body. Minimal Wear adds only faint marks that are hard to spot without inspecting the model up close. It gives nearly the same picture as the top grade, which suits a buyer who wants a clean pistol without paying for the very best condition.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The slide is painted deep blue and covered with a fine black craquelure, like cracked enamel, with the blue carried down onto the muzzle face. The frame, trigger guard and grip are a muted lilac-grey with a darker network of cracks, and small blue flecks show through along the frame and the textured grip panel.
Light specks may appear on the muzzle and the front edge of the slide, where paint wears first. The rest of the slide, the frame and the grip look the same as in Factory New. Because the crack pattern already contains dark lines, small marks get lost in it. At normal viewing distance it is hard to tell apart from the cleanest grade.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Glock-18 | Blue Fissure is 0.06–0.58; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (15% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.
It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, white and silver stickers sit well on the blue slide and continue its cold palette. For contrast, small orange or gold accents work against the blue, while dark or grey stickers blend into the cracked frame.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float within the chosen grade, since a lower value keeps more blue on the slide edges and muzzle.
- Check the muzzle, the top edge of the slide and the rear serrations, as these lose paint first.
- Inspect the grip in close-up to see whether the crack texture and blue flecks are still intact.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the look of the slide.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a nearly clean Glock-18 at a lower grade.
- Buyers planning a sticker craft who can accept faint marks on the edges.
- Conclusion: almost the top-grade look with a sensible saving.
