Skin overview

Well-Worn is the most worn grade this skin comes in, and here the poison dart frog pattern looks weathered, with noticeable patches of dark metal on raised parts. The emerald base and the yellow stripes on the box magazine are still clearly visible, so the skin keeps its identity. It suits players who want the colour scheme for play without paying for a clean copy.

Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver and handguard are painted emerald green with rows of dark circular cells and scattered yellow speckles, while pale yellow stripes curve across the top of the receiver. The box magazine carries the boldest part of the design: a dense grid of black spots on green on one side and wide cream-yellow bands on the other.

Bare metal patches are clearly visible on the box magazine edges, the receiver and the handguard ridges, and the stock outline is noticeably worn. The black cells lose definition where the paint has thinned. In game the weapon looks battle-used, though the green base and yellow stripes remain readable. The broad flat surfaces of the box magazine keep most of their pattern.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir M249 | Emerald Poison Dart is 0–0.45; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spectrum Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Spectrum Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in green, yellow, gold or black blend with the frog pattern without breaking it. The dark barrel area and the receiver above the handguard are good spots for contrasting stickers, while the striped box magazine is best left open.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
  • Inspect the edges of the box magazine and the receiver rails, as these lose paint first.
  • Look at any applied stickers and how they sit against the yellow stripes and black cells.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, as both versions exist for this skin.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the emerald and yellow scheme.
  • Players who like a weathered, battle-used look on a machine gun.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way to get this design.
