Skin overview

M249 | Hypnosis is a black and blue ring pattern, and in Battle-Scarred it turns into a heavily chipped, metal-showing version of that design. The rings survive mostly on the flat central areas, while edges and protruding parts look stripped. It suits players who like a rough, worn-in look on a machine gun.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The finish lays wide alternating bands of pale blue and dark grey-black over the whole weapon in a concentric ring pattern. The box magazine carries the clearest set of circles, which makes it the visual centre of the skin.

Heavy chipping covers the edges, sights, feed cover and much of the stock, with large areas of bare metal. The rings remain mainly on the flat middle of the magazine and receiver sides. In game the skin reads as a rough grey-and-blue gun with the pattern only partly visible. Only the central flat panels keep a recognisable part of the design.
