This M4A1-S finish pairs a dark anodized body with warm orange parts and light marbled marks on the magazine and receiver. In Minimal Wear the scheme stays practically intact, and any marks are small enough to be missed outside the inspect view. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade on a rifle that is used constantly on the Counter-Terrorist side.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The silencer is dark brown with orange bands near the muzzle end, and the barrel between the silencer and handguard is bright orange. The ribbed handguard and receiver are near-black with orange highlights catching the edges, while the magazine and lower receiver carry light, cracked marbled marks over the dark base.
Tiny scuffs may appear on the silencer tip and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The orange stays bright and the dark surfaces remain even. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell from Factory New. The handguard, grip and stock look clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy is 0–0.9; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total.
It drops from Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Orange, black, copper and gold stickers match the anodized scheme without breaking it. Placements on the dark receiver and magazine stand out best against the near-black surface.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since lower floats keep the silencer tip and handguard ribs cleaner.
- Inspect the silencer end and receiver edges, as chips there are the first sign of wear on this finish.
- Look at the magazine corners and marbled marks to see how much of the dark base has rubbed off.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit the black and orange scheme.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since small scuffs are rarely visible in game.
- In short: almost Factory New appearance at a more reasonable level.
