Show allAllSkin overview
This is the silenced M4A1 with the cyan nocturnal creature painted over a deep navy body. Battle-Scarred copies show heavy chipping across the suppressor, handguard and stock, leaving the artwork rough and patchy. It suits a buyer who wants the Nightmare colours at the lowest grade and accepts a weathered look.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The base colour is a deep navy close to black, covered with bright cyan and pale blue strokes that form claws, scales and sharp curved shapes. The receiver carries the densest part of the motif, with the creature's clawed outline wrapping around the magazine well and trigger area.
Heavy chipping covers the suppressor, handguard, stock and magazine, and the receiver artwork is worn through in places. Large parts of the creature motif are lost to scratches and exposed metal. In game the colours still hint at the Nightmare design, but the detail is gone. Only recessed areas of the receiver keep solid paint.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Nightmare is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Horizon Case.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 2nd of 9 skins Classified M4A1-S in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in cyan, ice blue, silver or black match the cold palette and blend with the dark body. Holo and foil stickers with blue tones work well on the receiver, while warm colours such as red or gold give deliberate contrast if used sparingly.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the suppressor and handguard.
- Inspect the suppressor tip and handguard ribs first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
- Look at any applied stickers and how worn they are, because they change the look of the dark receiver.
- If you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, confirm the label and any name tag before buying.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry buyers who want this skin in their inventory at the lowest grade.
- Players who like a heavily weathered look on a dark rifle.
- Conclusion: the entry point, with the artwork largely worn away.
