Show allAllSkin overview
This M4A1-S carries a creature motif drawn in cold cyan over a dark body, with the densest detail on the receiver and handguard. Field-Tested copies keep the overall blue glow, while scuffs start to show on the suppressor and protruding edges. It is the middle ground where the skin still reads clearly in hand.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The base colour is a deep navy close to black, covered with bright cyan and pale blue strokes that form claws, scales and sharp curved shapes. The receiver carries the densest part of the motif, with the creature's clawed outline wrapping around the magazine well and trigger area.
Wear spreads along the suppressor and handguard edges, and light scuffs reach the carry handle and magazine base. Some cyan strokes lose sharpness where the paint thins. In game the blue-on-black look still reads well, with damage visible mostly on inspect. The central receiver artwork remains largely intact.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A1-S | Nightmare is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir M4A1-S | Nightmare belongs to The Horizon Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Horizon Case.
What it costs in each quality
Among 10 skins of the M4A1-S in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in cyan, ice blue, silver or black match the cold palette and blend with the dark body. Holo and foil stickers with blue tones work well on the receiver, while warm colours such as red or gold give deliberate contrast if used sparingly.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the suppressor and handguard.
- Inspect the suppressor tip and handguard ribs first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
- Look at any applied stickers and how worn they are, because they change the look of the dark receiver.
- If you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, confirm the label and any name tag before buying.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Everyday players who want the full colour scheme and accept edge scuffs.
- Buyers looking for a middle grade where the receiver artwork stays intact.
- Conclusion: a practical grade for regular play.
