Show allAllSkin overview
This skin's float range only just reaches Battle-Scarred, so these copies sit at the very start of the grade and look close to Well-Worn. Wear is heavy on the edges and receiver, but the red-and-teal scheme is still clear. It is the lowest-cost way into Bullet Rain without a much rougher look.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The ribbed handguard is painted solid bright red, and the same red with darker cloud shapes covers the stock. The receiver is mint-teal with thin diagonal stripes, red slanted accents and pale grey clouds with falling bullet shapes across the side.
Wear covers the same areas as Well-Worn, slightly heavier: ribs, receiver edges and stock corners are worn down to metal. The teal panel looks faded and the cloud artwork is patchy. Because the range barely enters this grade, the rifle never reaches a fully stripped look and the red parts stay recognisable.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.46
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Bullet Rain is 0.02–0.46; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.46 segment (2% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The eSports 2014 Summer Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, white and teal stickers match the colour scheme, and dark or holo stickers on the grey magazine area keep the artwork free. Avoid covering the clouds and stripes on the receiver side if you want the motif to stay readable.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, especially in Field-Tested where copies differ a lot.
- Look at the handguard ribs and the top edges of the receiver, since they lose paint first.
- Inspect the light teal receiver panel for scratches, as they show there more than on the red parts.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, since they change the look and suit some buyers more than others.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget buyers looking for the cheapest entry into Bullet Rain.
- Players who know these copies look close to Well-Worn rather than fully stripped.
- The entry option for anyone who mainly wants the skin in their loadout.
