Skin overview

In Well-Worn, Bullet Rain reads as a used rifle: grey metal shows through on the edges and the receiver, and the cloud artwork loses some definition. The strong red still makes the skin recognisable from a distance. It suits buyers who like a weathered look on a bright design.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The ribbed handguard is painted solid bright red, and the same red with darker cloud shapes covers the stock. The receiver is mint-teal with thin diagonal stripes, red slanted accents and pale grey clouds with falling bullet shapes across the side.

Grey metal shows clearly along the handguard ribs and the receiver edges, and the stock corners are rubbed. The cloud and bullet details on the receiver lose definition and the stripes break up in places. The red handguard still carries the colour in game, but the rifle reads as clearly used.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Bullet Rain ranges from 0.02 to 0.46; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir M4A4 | Bullet Rain belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, white and teal stickers match the colour scheme, and dark or holo stickers on the grey magazine area keep the artwork free. Avoid covering the clouds and stripes on the receiver side if you want the motif to stay readable.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, especially in Field-Tested where copies differ a lot.
  • Look at the handguard ribs and the top edges of the receiver, since they lose paint first.
  • Inspect the light teal receiver panel for scratches, as they show there more than on the red parts.
  • Check applied stickers and a name tag, since they change the look and suit some buyers more than others.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Players who like a weathered look on a bright design.
  • Budget buyers who still want the red handguard to stand out in game.
  • A good fit if a used look does not bother you.
