Show allAllSkin overview
The red-and-teal contrast that defines Bullet Rain survives Minimal Wear almost untouched. At most a few tiny marks sit on the edges, and in normal play they are hard to spot. It gives nearly the same picture as Factory New with a little less focus on perfection.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The ribbed handguard is painted solid bright red, and the same red with darker cloud shapes covers the stock. The receiver is mint-teal with thin diagonal stripes, red slanted accents and pale grey clouds with falling bullet shapes across the side.
Small specks may appear on the handguard ribs and the top edge of the receiver. The teal panel and the stock artwork remain clean. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Bullet Rain ranges from 0.02 to 0.46; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 18% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The eSports 2014 Summer Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, white and teal stickers match the colour scheme, and dark or holo stickers on the grey magazine area keep the artwork free. Avoid covering the clouds and stripes on the receiver side if you want the motif to stay readable.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, especially in Field-Tested where copies differ a lot.
- Look at the handguard ribs and the top edges of the receiver, since they lose paint first.
- Inspect the light teal receiver panel for scratches, as they show there more than on the red parts.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, since they change the look and suit some buyers more than others.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-perfect look and accept tiny marks on the edges.
- Buyers who want clean red and teal colours in game without paying for the cleanest grade.
- A sensible compromise between appearance and cost.
