M4A4 | Buzz Kill is a Covert Gunsmith finish that paints the CT rifle in saturated amber-orange with black parts, olive-green panels and thin bright yellow trim lines. In Factory New every yellow outline and every marking on the receiver stays sharp, so the rifle reads as one clean, high-contrast piece.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver and upper rail are painted amber-orange with black hardware, small markings on the lower receiver and thin yellow lines tracing the panel edges. The handguard carries a row of dark segmented plates outlined in bright yellow, and the muzzle device is black and gold with a yellow ring.
The finish is complete: the orange stays even, the yellow trim lines are unbroken and the receiver markings are legible. The handguard plates keep sharp yellow outlines. In game the rifle looks clean and saturated from any angle. Nothing on the muzzle, rail or magazine shows scratches.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Buzz Kill ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The source is Glove Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, gold and yellow stickers blend with the amber body, while olive or dark green ones echo the grip and magazine. Placements on the receiver and above the magazine well keep the handguard pattern visible.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep the yellow trim noticeably better.
- Check the muzzle, handguard edges and top rail on inspect, as these parts lose paint first.
- Review applied stickers and their scrape level, because they change how the orange receiver reads.
- Note whether the copy has a StatTrak™ counter or a name tag if either matters to you.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want every yellow line and marking intact.
- Sticker crafters building a clean, matched amber-and-black loadout.
- Conclusion: the reference copy for those who want the finish exactly as designed.
