M4A4 | Daybreak is a Restricted rifle skin for the CT side with a sunrise painted in metallic paints across the receiver. Orange and amber tones sit over a pale blue-grey base, while the handguard, magazine and stock stay in muted grey and olive. In Factory New the metallic layer is clean and even, so the warm colours on the receiver read as one unbroken block.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Factory New
The main artwork sits on the receiver: patches of orange and amber with rounded, sun-like shapes over a pale blue-grey metallic base, broken up by small darker details. The barrel carries orange bands near the muzzle device, echoing the receiver colours.
The metallic paint is intact on every part of the rifle. The orange and amber shapes on the receiver have clean borders against the grey-blue base, and the muzzle bands are fully coloured. In game the receiver catches light evenly and the sunrise reads as one bright section. Nothing on the grip, magazine or stock shows scratches.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Daybreak is 0–0.6; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in orange, gold, amber or pale blue continue the sunrise palette of the receiver. Placing them on the muted handguard or magazine keeps the main artwork on the receiver uncovered, while holo or foil stickers in warm tones match the metallic sheen.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the receiver edges and muzzle bands show the difference first.
- Look at the orange bands near the muzzle on worn copies, as they are the first visible part to lose colour from the player's view.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether their placement and colours fit your plans.
- Review any existing stickers and name tag before buying, since they change the overall look of the rifle.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the sunrise artwork with no marks at all.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean metallic base for warm-toned stickers.
- In short: the choice for a spotless Daybreak.
