Show allAllSkin overview
In Field-Tested, Daybreak still shows its warm sunrise colours on the receiver, but the metallic paint begins to break up at the edges and on raised parts. The contrast between orange and pale grey-blue stays readable, and the scratches add a used, working look to the rifle. A reasonable middle ground for players who care more about the colour scheme than about a spotless finish.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The main artwork sits on the receiver: patches of orange and amber with rounded, sun-like shapes over a pale blue-grey metallic base, broken up by small darker details. The barrel carries orange bands near the muzzle device, echoing the receiver colours.
Scratches spread along the receiver edges and over raised details, and the orange muzzle bands start to lose paint. The central shapes of the sunrise remain visible, though their borders become less crisp. In game the warm colours still dominate the view of the receiver. The flat areas of the magazine and stock show only minor marks.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Daybreak ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in orange, gold, amber or pale blue continue the sunrise palette of the receiver. Placing them on the muted handguard or magazine keeps the main artwork on the receiver uncovered, while holo or foil stickers in warm tones match the metallic sheen.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the receiver edges and muzzle bands show the difference first.
- Look at the orange bands near the muzzle on worn copies, as they are the first visible part to lose colour from the player's view.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether their placement and colours fit your plans.
- Review any existing stickers and name tag before buying, since they change the overall look of the rifle.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- CT players who want the warm sunrise colours for everyday matches.
- Buyers who like a slightly used look on the receiver.
- In short: a balanced pick between appearance and condition.
