Skin overview

A Well-Worn Daybreak trades the clean sunrise for a weathered version of it: the orange and amber areas are broken by bare metal on the receiver and near the muzzle. The overall palette is still recognisable, which keeps this grade distinct from plain worn rifles. It suits buyers who like an aged, scratched look on the M4A4.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The main artwork sits on the receiver: patches of orange and amber with rounded, sun-like shapes over a pale blue-grey metallic base, broken up by small darker details. The barrel carries orange bands near the muzzle device, echoing the receiver colours.

Larger patches of bare metal break up the orange and amber areas on the receiver, especially around edges and the sights. The muzzle bands are noticeably scratched. From the player's view the sunrise looks weathered but the palette is still clear. Wear now also shows on the edges of the magazine and handguard.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir M4A4 | Daybreak is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir M4A4 | Daybreak belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, gold, amber or pale blue continue the sunrise palette of the receiver. Placing them on the muted handguard or magazine keeps the main artwork on the receiver uncovered, while holo or foil stickers in warm tones match the metallic sheen.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the receiver edges and muzzle bands show the difference first.
  • Look at the orange bands near the muzzle on worn copies, as they are the first visible part to lose colour from the player's view.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether their placement and colours fit your plans.
  • Review any existing stickers and name tag before buying, since they change the overall look of the rifle.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Players who like a weathered metallic finish with bare metal showing.
  • Budget buyers who still want a recognisable palette.
  • In short: an aged Daybreak with character.
