M4A4 | Desert Storm is a CT rifle in a desert camouflage hydrographic of brown, tan and off-white blotches, with a rust-brown handguard and stock. In Factory New the camo edges stay crisp and the white patches read bright against the brown. The float range starts above zero, so this grade covers only a narrow band of clean copies.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver and magazine carry the hydrographic camo: irregular brown, tan and off-white blotches over a darker base. The ribbed handguard and the stock are painted in a solid rust-brown with dark grey parts, while the flash hider, barrel and carry handle stay mostly metal.
The camo blotches have sharp edges and the white patches are clean and bright. Handguard ribs and stock show an even rust-brown coat with no marks. In game the rifle reads as a tidy warm-toned camo. Everything on the weapon looks fresh.
Factory New quality — float range 0.06–0.07
The float of Souvenir M4A4 | Desert Storm ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Factory New quality covers 0.06–0.07 — 1% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Dust Collection with 9 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in brown, tan, orange or muted gold blend with the desert palette, while a single white or black sticker can echo the camo contrast. Placements on the rust-brown handguard or near the receiver keep the craft tied to the colour scheme.
What to check before buying
- Compare floats within the chosen grade, since a lower value keeps the magazine and receiver edges cleaner.
- Look at the magazine first, as it is the part where the paint wears off earliest on this rifle.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on Souvenir copies make sure their fixed stickers suit you.
- The camo placement varies slightly between copies, so look at the preview if the white blotch layout matters to you.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the cleanest available look of this camo.
- Sticker crafters who need crisp blotches as a base.
- Conclusion: the pick for a fresh, sharp Desert Storm.
