Skin overview

This MAC-10 skin is built around one idea: a gun wrapped in tan faux crocodile leather, like a briefcase that goes everywhere with its owner. In Field-Tested the leather starts to show its travels, with scuffs on the top edges and the front of the receiver. Because the texture itself is busy, the wear blends in and the skin still reads as a leather-clad SMG in game.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver is covered in a tan, sand-gold faux crocodile leather texture with visible scale grain and stitched seams running along its edges and top. The same leather continues onto the grip, while the front strap is wrapped to match, making the whole gun read as one beige leather piece.

Scuffs become visible along the top edge and front of the receiver, and the grip edges start to lose paint. The strap may show light rubbing along its sides. The flat side panels of the receiver still carry clear leather texture, so in game the skin reads as tan leather with some honest wear. Low floats in this grade look noticeably cleaner than high ones.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Commuter is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MAC-10 | Commuter belongs to The Baggage Collection, which holds 15 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Warm browns, gold, cream and black stickers sit naturally on the tan leather and keep the travel-accessory theme. Paper or holo stickers in muted tones work best on the flat side of the receiver, where the leather texture is cleanest. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the beige wrap.
