Skin overview

This is the MAC-10 with a gold receiver and grey hardware in its most worn state. In Battle-Scarred the anodizing is heavily scratched across the receiver, and the metal underneath shows on every edge. The float range of this skin ends before the worst possible values, so even these copies keep a visible amount of gold.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, the main box of the weapon, is finished in yellow-gold anodizing with two engraved lines and a raised panel along its side, and the edges carry a slightly darker tone. The threaded barrel tip stays dark, while the magazine, grip, trigger guard and folded wire stock remain neutral grey metal.

The anodizing is scratched across most of the receiver, with bare metal on every edge, the top surface and the raised panel. The gold remains in broken areas on the flatter parts of the sides. In game the weapon still reads as gold-tinted, but clearly rough. The grey hardware keeps its plain look throughout.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, holo gold and black stickers sit well on the yellow receiver and keep the single-colour idea intact. Placing them on the flat side area above or below the engraved lines avoids covering the detailing. Busy multicolour stickers tend to clash with the solid gold.

What to check before buying

• Look at where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low-float copy of a worn grade can look close to the cleaner one.
• Inspect the receiver corners, top edge and raised side panel, as these lose the gold first.
• The finish is a solid colour, so the pattern does not change the look and is not worth paying extra for.
• StatTrak™ copies do not exist, while Souvenir copies come with preapplied stickers that change the look of the receiver.
