Souvenir MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

The skin turns the MAC-10 receiver into a gold bar with engraved detailing, framed by neutral grey parts. In Field-Tested the anodized layer starts to break on the corners and the top edge, and lighter metal shows through. The gun looks used rather than polished, which matches the item description about every imperfection catching the light.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, the main box of the weapon, is finished in yellow-gold anodizing with two engraved lines and a raised panel along its side, and the edges carry a slightly darker tone. The threaded barrel tip stays dark, while the magazine, grip, trigger guard and folded wire stock remain neutral grey metal.

The corners and the top edge of the receiver show clear scuffs where the anodizing has rubbed through to lighter metal. The raised panel and the edges of the engraved lines begin to lose colour. In game the gold still dominates, with the wear visible mostly when inspecting the weapon. The flat central part of the side stays largely gold.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Gold Brick is 0–0.7; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (33% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo gold and black stickers sit well on the yellow receiver and keep the single-colour idea intact. Placing them on the flat side area above or below the engraved lines avoids covering the detailing. Busy multicolour stickers tend to clash with the solid gold.

What to check before buying

• Look at where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low-float copy of a worn grade can look close to the cleaner one.
• Inspect the receiver corners, top edge and raised side panel, as these lose the gold first.
• The finish is a solid colour, so the pattern does not change the look and is not worth paying extra for.
• StatTrak™ copies do not exist, while Souvenir copies come with preapplied stickers that change the look of the receiver.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players on the terrorist side who want a gold MAC-10 for everyday use.
• Buyers who like a worked-in look with light edge wear.
• A balanced middle grade where the gold still dominates.
