Souvenir MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Well-Worn)

Skin overview

Gold Brick is still recognisable from across the map by its bright yellow receiver against the grey magazine and grip. At Well-Worn the gold is broken into patches along the edges and raised areas, with noticeable bare metal on the top of the box. It is a rougher, worked-in version of the same colour scheme.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver, the main box of the weapon, is finished in yellow-gold anodizing with two engraved lines and a raised panel along its side, and the edges carry a slightly darker tone. The threaded barrel tip stays dark, while the magazine, grip, trigger guard and folded wire stock remain neutral grey metal.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the top surface and the raised side details, leaving bare patches across the receiver. The engraved lines become less defined as colour is lost around them. In game the receiver reads as a mottled gold rather than a solid one. The lower and central side areas still hold most of the colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

Price by quality

Among 3 skins of the MAC-10 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo gold and black stickers sit well on the yellow receiver and keep the single-colour idea intact. Placing them on the flat side area above or below the engraved lines avoids covering the detailing. Busy multicolour stickers tend to clash with the solid gold.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within its wear grade, since a low-float copy of a worn grade can look close to the cleaner one.
• Inspect the receiver corners, top edge and raised side panel, as these lose the gold first.
• The finish is a solid colour, so the pattern does not change the look and is not worth paying extra for.
• StatTrak™ copies do not exist, while Souvenir copies come with preapplied stickers that change the look of the receiver.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

• Budget buyers who want the recognisable gold receiver in their loadout.
• Fans of a rough, patchy finish with bare metal showing through.
• An affordable way to get the look with visible character.
