Skin overview

Battle-Scarred Light Box is the roughest version of the finish, with heavy scratches across the receiver, grip and magazine. Large areas of bare metal mix with what is left of the dark paint and the pink accents. It suits players who like a beaten-up look and want the design at the lowest entry cost.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is painted in a dark charcoal tone with fine panel lines, small labels and a carbon-like texture, and its side carries several narrow slots that glow magenta, as if light were shining from inside the weapon. The barrel and front end stay dark and plain, keeping attention on the receiver.

Heavy scratches cover the receiver, grip, barrel and magazine, with wide areas of exposed metal. The magenta accents survive only in fragments. In game the skin reads as a grey, scratched MAC-10 with traces of pink. Only recessed areas keep some of the original dark paint.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in magenta, violet or holo and neon styles match the glowing lines, while black and silver ones keep the look restrained. Placing them on the flat receiver side, away from the pink slots, preserves the light effect.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high floats of the same grade can look noticeably different on the edges.
• Look at the magenta slots on the receiver side, because broken pink lines weaken the main idea of the skin.
• Inspect the corners of the receiver and the bottom of the magazine, which lose paint first.
• Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the dark and pink scheme.
