Skin overview

MAC-10 | Light Box is a dark gunmetal finish with thin magenta lines that look like light leaking from inside the weapon. The idea is a cutaway view, as if the back of the MAC-10 were open and lit from within. In Factory New the black surfaces stay even and the pink accents keep their sharp, saturated edges.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is painted in a dark charcoal tone with fine panel lines, small labels and a carbon-like texture, and its side carries several narrow slots that glow magenta, as if light were shining from inside the weapon. The barrel and front end stay dark and plain, keeping attention on the receiver.

The dark paint covers every part evenly, with no visible chips on the receiver or magazine. The magenta slots and the pink line on the grip have crisp edges and full colour. In game the glow effect stands out clearly against the black body. Everything, including the brushed magazine, looks clean.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Light Box is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in magenta, violet or holo and neon styles match the glowing lines, while black and silver ones keep the look restrained. Placing them on the flat receiver side, away from the pink slots, preserves the light effect.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low and high floats of the same grade can look noticeably different on the edges.
• Look at the magenta slots on the receiver side, because broken pink lines weaken the main idea of the skin.
