Skin overview

This MAC-10 finish is a teal anodized coat with a wavy pattern pulled through it by a rubber comb. Well-Worn copies show clear scuffs along the top and front edges, and the colour looks a little duller where the coat has thinned. The flat sides still carry enough of the pattern to keep the skin recognisable.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver is fully coated in a metallic teal anodized paint, with lighter diagonal waves dragged across it in a comb pattern that runs over the top and sides. The barrel tip stays black, while the grip, magazine, trigger guard and folding wire stock remain in plain grey metal, which makes the teal body stand out.

The edge wear from Field-Tested widens into continuous scuffed strips along the top of the receiver and around the corners near the stock. Patches of thinner paint dull the teal on parts of the sides. At normal distance the gun still looks teal with visible waves, though less vivid. The middle of the side panels keeps the most intact pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Malachite is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo or foil stickers in silver, white or teal tones blend with the metallic finish, while gold or black stickers give a clear contrast. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps them on the most visible teal surface.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the front and top edges of the receiver, since they lose paint first.
• Compare the float position within the grade, as low-float Field-Tested copies can look close to Minimal Wear.
• The pattern is a uniform comb wave, so placement differences are minor and should not cost extra.
• Look at applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the bright teal body.

• Budget players who want a recognisable coloured MAC-10.
• Those who like a used look that still keeps the pattern on the sides.
• Good value if the colour matters more than clean edges.
