Skin overview

Red Filigree pairs a maroon receiver with fine red scrollwork and plain grey grip and magazine. Because the float range of this skin stops early, the Battle-Scarred grade sits close to Well-Worn: the pattern is rubbed through on edges and raised parts, yet the red ornament remains visible over most of the body. It is the most affordable way to get the design without it looking ruined.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The finish covers the receiver and upper body of the MAC-10, from the barrel shroud to the rear, with a dark maroon base and a dense red filigree of flowers, scrolls and curls. The barrel tip stays dark grey, while the grip, magazine, trigger guard and rear stock rail are left in plain grey metal.

Edges, corners and raised parts of the receiver are worn through more widely than in Well-Worn, though the difference is moderate because the float range ends early. The filigree is patchy along the top, but the side panels still carry much of the red ornament. In game the gun reads as a dark, weathered red. The grey lower half shows scratches but keeps its plain look.

Souvenir MAC-10 | Red Filigree belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, deep red and black stickers match the ornamental, vintage feel of the filigree. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps them on the patterned area, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the dark maroon base.

• Inspect the top edge and front corners of the receiver, where the filigree breaks first.
