Souvenir MAC-10 | Red Filigree (Well-Worn)

Skin overview

On this MAC-10 the upper body carries a red decorative tracery on a dark base, while the lower half is left in bare grey. In Well-Worn the filigree is broken up along the top and the corners, giving the gun a used, aged look. The darker overall tone hides much of the wear at normal play distance.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The finish covers the receiver and upper body of the MAC-10, from the barrel shroud to the rear, with a dark maroon base and a dense red filigree of flowers, scrolls and curls. The barrel tip stays dark grey, while the grip, magazine, trigger guard and rear stock rail are left in plain grey metal.

The top of the receiver and the front corners have larger rubbed areas where the ornament is broken. Scuffing spreads onto the raised parts around the bolt slot and the edges of the side panels. In game the gun looks dark red with an uneven, aged surface. The centre of the side panels still keeps a readable pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Red Filigree is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Canals Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, deep red and black stickers match the ornamental, vintage feel of the filigree. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps them on the patterned area, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the dark maroon base.
