Skin overview

The skin pairs a dark grey-green base with a red front section that dissolves into ragged, high-tech flame shapes. At Minimal Wear the contrast between red and olive is practically the same as on a fresh copy, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It gives nearly the clean look for a lower grade.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The barrel, front of the receiver and the trigger guard are painted coral-red, and the red breaks into torn, flame-like fragments as it runs back over the dark olive-grey receiver. A scatter of small red pixels sits at the rear top of the body, while two long cream stripes run along the side of the receiver.

Tiny marks may appear on the barrel tip and the sharpest receiver corners. They are hard to spot without inspecting the gun closely. At normal distance in game the skin looks the same as Factory New. The red flame fragments, stripes and grip accents remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir MAC-10 | Tatter is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, white and cream stickers continue the palette, while black or dark olive ones blend into the rear of the receiver. Placing stickers on the grey part of the body keeps the torn red front visible.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• Inspect the barrel tip, trigger guard and magazine base, as these show wear first.
• Check the cream stripes on the receiver, because scuffs there are visible in first-person view.
• Note applied stickers and name tags, as they change the look and do not always add value.
