Souvenir MAC-10 | Tornado (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This MAC-10 is recognisable by its sandy top half and slate-blue lower half, painted in flat solid tones. Field-Tested copies start to show small chips along the edges of the receiver and magazine, which add a used, working look to the plain paint. The overall two-tone scheme still reads clearly in game.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver, including the top with its raised ribs and the side panels, is painted a flat sandy tan. The trigger guard, grip, magazine, folding wire stock and sling are a uniform blue-grey, and the short barrel tip is a darker grey.

Small chips appear on the receiver corners and ribs, the muzzle and the bottom of the magazine. The edges of the grip may show light scuffing. In game the wear is noticeable when looking at the weapon, but the colour split stays clear. The large flat panels of the receiver and magazine are still mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MAC-10 | Tornado ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MAC-10 | Tornado belongs to The Militia Collection, which holds 11 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The plain tan receiver works as a calm background for stickers in blue, grey or white that echo the lower parts. Warm sand, brown or muted orange stickers blend in for a tone-on-tone look, while placing them along the receiver side keeps the two-colour split readable.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since chipping on the tan receiver is the most visible sign of wear.
• Inspect the receiver corners, ribs and muzzle, as these lose paint first.
• Pattern does not matter for this solid colour finish, so compare copies by float and condition only.
• Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether you like them before buying.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want a usable everyday skin for the MAC-10.
• Those who like light edge wear on a plain finish.
• A practical middle option for regular play.
