Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the cartoon collage of MAC-10 | Toybox is broken up by heavy scratches and bare metal across the most exposed parts. The colourful drawings survive mostly on flatter, protected areas, so the skin turns into a worn, almost distressed version of its playful design. It suits buyers who want the theme on a budget or who like a messy, battered look that matches the skin's own caption.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is covered edge to edge with overlapping cartoon drawings in teal, orange, pink, green and white, with small figures and symbols packed tightly like a sticker bomb. The barrel shroud continues the collage, while the muzzle tip and the trigger guard area are picked out in a warm gold-orange tone.

Heavy scratches and wide areas of bare metal cover the receiver top, muzzle, magazine and grip edges, and many small drawings are partly erased. The remaining colour sits mostly on the flat side panels and the middle of the magazine. In first-person view the weapon looks battered, with the cartoon theme still recognisable but broken up by wear.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir MAC-10 | Toybox ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MAC-10 | Toybox belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Operation Riptide Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Since the finish is already a dense collage, stickers in the same cartoon or doodle style blend in naturally, especially in teal, pink or orange tones. Holo or plain white stickers placed on the receiver side stand out without clashing with the artwork, while a few small stickers usually work better than a heavy stack.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the chosen wear, since a low float in a grade keeps the top edges of the receiver noticeably cleaner.
  • Check the top of the receiver and the muzzle end first, because these parts lose paint before the rest of the weapon.
  • Inspect the magazine corners and grip edges on worn copies to see how much of the artwork is still in place.
  • Check for applied stickers, a name tag and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir, as these change the look and the value of the item.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Buyers who like a battered, messy look that fits the skin's own caption.
  • Conclusion: a budget entry for those who value the theme over a clean finish.
