Skin overview

Whitefish is easy to recognise by its white skeletal motifs: a spine on the magazine, branching bones on the grip and a scale mesh on the receiver. In Field-Tested the white paint starts to look rubbed at the edges, which gives the drawing a slightly rough, hand-made feel. The overall black-and-white scheme still reads clearly in game.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is finished in dark black-grey, with a white net of fish scales covering the lower side panel and white accents along the top edge. The grip carries white branching bone lines that run down its length, while the magazine is decorated with a white fish spine and ribs drawn vertically.

Wear spreads along the magazine edges, the front of the grip and the top edges of the receiver, where the black base turns greyish. Some thin white strokes on the grip and magazine look rubbed. At normal distance the pattern still reads clearly and the damage blends into the hand-painted style. The central scale area of the receiver mostly stays intact.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MAC-10 | Whitefish ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Prisma Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Prisma Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and black stickers keep the monochrome look intact, while a single red or teal accent can stand out against the dark body. Placing stickers on the upper receiver leaves the scale and bone artwork visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the white linework on the magazine and grip shows wear quickly.
  • Look at the magazine base and the front of the grip, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Make sure applied stickers do not cover the fish spine on the magazine or the scale net on the receiver.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or carries a name tag, if that matters to you.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a recognisable black-and-white MAC-10 for everyday matches.
  • Fans of a slightly rough, hand-made look that suits the drawn artwork.
  • A practical choice for regular play.
