Show allAllSkin overview
This finish wraps the MAG-7 in steel-blue plates with bright cyan trim on the muzzle, foregrip and magazine. A Well-Worn copy loses part of that trim and shows noticeable bare metal along the edges, giving the futuristic design a used, field-service look. The colour scheme remains clearly readable.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver is covered in angular slate-blue plates with darker blue sections and a fine speckled texture, separated by thin glowing cyan lines. The foregrip continues the same blue panelling with curved turquoise strips, and a cyan ring sits on the muzzle behind the dark gunmetal barrel.
Bare metal spreads from the edges onto the larger plates of the receiver and the magazine, and the muzzle ring and chevrons look patchy. Several cyan lines are partly erased, so the panel layout looks less defined. In game the skin reads as blue with scattered turquoise and visible grey wear. The flat central areas of the foregrip and receiver still hold colour.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Cobalt Core ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 14% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MAG-7 | Cobalt Core belongs to The Shadow Collection, which holds 16 skins.
It drops from Shadow Case (on sale since Sep 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in cyan, teal, white or silver tones match the turquoise lines and the steel-blue base. Holo and foil stickers with a cool palette fit the futuristic style, while warm reds or yellows will clash with the scheme. The flat side of the receiver gives the cleanest placement without covering the cyan accents.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the clean end of a grade keep noticeably more cyan trim.
- Look at the top rail, muzzle ring and magazine bottom, which lose paint first on this finish.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the blue panel design reads.
- Confirm whether you are buying a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, since both versions exist for this skin.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget buyers who still want visible colour on the weapon.
- Players who like a used, field-service look on a futuristic design.
- Conclusion: an inexpensive option that keeps the scheme readable.
