Show allAllSkin overview
Firestarter is defined by its spray-painted layers of cream, red-orange and charred black, meant to look like edges catching fire. Well-Worn copies show noticeable chipping on the edges and protruding parts, and the cream base loses some of its cleanness. For this distressed style the extra wear fits the idea rather than spoiling it.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The receiver and upper body are covered in a cream base with dense red-orange speckling and irregular dark brown to black patches that read as scorch marks. The muzzle shroud and barrel stay mostly dark grey, with red spots creeping onto the tip.
Paint loss spreads from the edges onto the front of the body, the muzzle area and the magazine, and the dark patches grow wider. The cream ground looks greyer and less even. In game the gun reads darker and rougher, though the red speckle is still recognisable. The central side panels hold the most of the original finish.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Firestarter ranges from 0.06 to 0.49; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 16% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Vanguard Collection with 14 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, orange and black stickers echo the ember and scorch colours, while cream or gold accents sit well on the pale base. Placements on the side of the receiver keep the stickers visible without covering the darkest patches.
What to check before buying
- Factory New starts right at the bottom of this skin's float range, so it occupies only a narrow band and the float within it matters little visually.
- In mid and high wears, check the top rail, front edges and magazine base in inspect, as these lose paint first.
- Look at any applied stickers and their wear, since they change how the cream body reads.
- If you want a StatTrak™ copy, make sure the counter and any name tag are what you expect.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget-minded players who still want visible red-and-cream colours.
- Fans of a rougher, more battle-used look.
- Conclusion: a cheaper entry that keeps the character of the skin.
