Show allAllSkin overview
Hard Water gives the MAG-7 an industrial, water-stained look: plain grey anodizing on the body and foregrip, a darker patterned receiver and blue details on the barrel ring and magazine. In Field-Tested, light scratches start to show along edges and raised parts, which suits the weathered theme of the design. The blue highlights and the stain motif stay readable in game.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is split into a dark blue-green upper section covered with irregular grey blotches and a plain grey anodized lower body. The large foregrip and the muzzle area are smooth grey metal, with a glowing blue ring where the barrel meets the body.
Scratches become visible along the foregrip edges, the top ridge of the receiver and the magazine base, showing lighter metal underneath. The dark patterned section starts to look slightly patchy at the edges. The blue ring and most of the blue details still look clean. In game the weapon reads as lightly used but keeps its colour contrast.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Hard Water ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 51% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

It drops from Operation Hydra Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Blue, silver and holo stickers in cool tones match the grey and teal palette. Placing them on the dark upper receiver keeps them close to the blue accents without covering the grey foregrip, while warm colours tend to break the restrained look.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of Field-Tested show noticeably more scratches on the foregrip.
- Inspect the edges of the foregrip and the top ridge of the receiver, as they are the first places the coating wears off.
- Make sure the blue ring at the barrel and the blue magazine detail look clean if the accents matter to you.
- Look at applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether a StatTrak™ counter is worth it for you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the weathered, industrial feel that suits the water-stain theme.
- Buyers who want a balanced option between look and cost.
- Conclusion: a sensible middle choice for regular use.
