Skin overview

This MAG-7 is recognisable by its cool palette: muted grey metal, a dark teal top section with irregular grey spots, and glowing blue trim near the muzzle. In Minimal Wear the finish keeps its full colour, and any marks are limited to fine scuffs that are hard to spot outside inspect mode. For most buyers it reads the same as a factory copy at a lower grade.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver is split into a dark blue-green upper section covered with irregular grey blotches and a plain grey anodized lower body. The large foregrip and the muzzle area are smooth grey metal, with a glowing blue ring where the barrel meets the body.

Small scuffs may appear on the edges of the foregrip and the muzzle area. The receiver pattern and the blue highlights remain fully intact. At normal viewing distance in game the difference from Factory New is barely noticeable. Marks only become visible when inspecting the weapon closely.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir MAG-7 | Hard Water ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue, silver and holo stickers in cool tones match the grey and teal palette. Placing them on the dark upper receiver keeps them close to the blue accents without covering the grey foregrip, while warm colours tend to break the restrained look.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of Field-Tested show noticeably more scratches on the foregrip.
  • Inspect the edges of the foregrip and the top ridge of the receiver, as they are the first places the coating wears off.
  • Make sure the blue ring at the barrel and the blue magazine detail look clean if the accents matter to you.
  • Look at applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether a StatTrak™ counter is worth it for you.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since minor scuffs do not interfere with the receiver area.
  • Conclusion: practically the factory look for a smaller outlay.
