Show allAllSkin overview
In Battle-Scarred the aqua-and-tan MAG-7 turns into a heavily chipped piece with large areas of exposed metal. The dark receiver hides damage better than the light parts, so the shotgun looks patchy rather than fully stripped. This is the most rugged version of the finish.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Field-Tested.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and pistol grip are painted a dark slate teal, with small aqua pins and details on the side of the body. The foregrip, the stock bracket and the barrel tip are pale aqua, while the barrel shroud, the top rail with the rear sight and the magazine baseplate are tan.
The barrel shroud, rail and baseplate are largely bare metal, and the foregrip is heavily chipped across its surface. The receiver and grip carry many scratches but keep more paint than the light parts. In game the gun reads as patchy and rough, with the aqua tone only partly visible.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir MAG-7 | Seabird is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Chop Shop Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Compared with the Battle-Scarred quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 5.1× dearer
- Minimal Wear — 2.1× dearer
- Well-Worn — 2% dearer
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Among 7 skins of the MAG-7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in aqua, teal, cream or gold tones match the scheme and sit well on the dark receiver, where they stand out against the slate paint. Avoid bright red or purple, which break the calm two-tone palette.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since chips on the tan shroud and rail grow quickly with float.
- Look at the barrel shroud, foregrip edges and magazine baseplate, as these parts lose paint first.
- Pattern does not matter for this solid-colour finish, so compare copies by wear and extras only.
- If you are considering a Souvenir copy, check its stickers and their condition.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Fans of heavily worn, rugged weapon looks.
- Players who need the cheapest way to cover the default MAG-7.
- Conclusion: for those who value a rough look over clean colour.
