Show allAllSkin overview
Kitbash is built around a hand-assembled look, so Battle-Scarred turns the MP5-SD into a properly beaten workshop gun. Large areas of the yellow, white and red details are worn through, while the general black-and-white silhouette of the suppressor and magazine is still recognisable. It is the most affordable way to own the skin.
Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The suppressor is black with wide white wraps carrying black lettering, finished with a yellow muzzle cap and yellow bands at its base. The receiver is dark blue-grey metal with brownish, rust-like tones on the trigger group and lower parts.
Battle-Scarred leaves the yellow caps heavily worn, breaks up the white wraps and the magazine stripes, and wears down the grip emblem. Large areas of the receiver look bare and scratched. In game the gun reads as a dark, battered SMG with patchy light details.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The float of Souvenir MP5-SD | Kitbash ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 44% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir MP5-SD | Kitbash belongs to The Fracture Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is Fracture Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Black, white and yellow stickers blend naturally with the taped-together theme, and a touch of red echoes the magazine band. Placements on the receiver side and near the magazine well suit the patchwork look best.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within its grade, since the yellow caps show the difference between low and high floats first.
- Look at the magazine edges and the red band near its bottom, which are the most visible worn areas in the first-person view.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look of this busy, patchwork design.
- Compare the inspect view of the suppressor wraps to make sure the lettering is as legible as you want.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for players who simply want the skin in their inventory.
- Fans of heavily worn, battered finishes that match the makeshift idea.
- The cheapest way to own Kitbash, with a clearly rough look.
