Skin overview

MP5-SD | Snow Splash is an Industrial Grade SMG skin with a grayscale hydrographic pattern of sharp, angular white and dark gray patches. In Factory New the contrast is at its strongest: the off-white areas stay bright and the dark splashes have crisp edges. This is the cleanest way to see the full winter camo across the suppressor, handguard and magazine.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The whole MP5-SD is covered in a grayscale hydrographic pattern of off-white areas broken up by sharp, angular dark gray and black splashes. The suppressor carries large dark patches with white streaks, while the ribbed handguard and receiver mix light and dark tones more evenly.

The finish is intact on every part of the weapon. The white areas are clean and bright, and the dark splashes have sharp, well-defined edges. At normal distance the gun reads as a crisp black and white winter camo. Nothing on the suppressor, magazine or grip shows scuffing.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir MP5-SD | Snow Splash ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 12% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and silver stickers blend with the grayscale camo for a monochrome craft. A single red or bright accent sticker on the receiver stands out well against the neutral background.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low-float copy of a grade can look close to the next cleaner one.
  • Look at the suppressor tip and magazine edges, as these parts show wear first.
  • Compare how bright the white areas are, because dulled pale patches change the overall look more than small scratches.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, as they shape the look of a plain grayscale finish.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Players who want the sharpest contrast of the white and dark camo.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a monochrome build.
  • Conclusion: the choice for a perfectly clean winter camo.
