Souvenir MP5-SD | Snow Splash (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This MP5-SD skin uses a simple grayscale camo of light and dark angular blotches, and the restrained palette hides wear well. In Field-Tested the white areas lose some brightness and the edges of the weapon start to show scuffs, but the pattern stays readable. In game it reads as a plain snow camouflage rather than a damaged gun.

Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The whole MP5-SD is covered in a grayscale hydrographic pattern of off-white areas broken up by sharp, angular dark gray and black splashes. The suppressor carries large dark patches with white streaks, while the ribbed handguard and receiver mix light and dark tones more evenly.

Scratches spread along the suppressor tip, the magazine edges and the handguard ribs, and the sights show small chips. The white areas start to look slightly dull and gray. At normal distance the camo still reads clearly, since the grayscale palette hides most marks. The central parts of the receiver and the sides of the grip remain mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir MP5-SD | Snow Splash ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:

• Factory New — 1.9× dearer
• Minimal Wear — 37% dearer

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 5 skins of the MP5-SD in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and silver stickers blend with the grayscale camo for a monochrome craft. A single red or bright accent sticker on the receiver stands out well against the neutral background.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low-float copy of a grade can look close to the next cleaner one.
• Look at the suppressor tip and magazine edges, as these parts show wear first.
• Compare how bright the white areas are, because dulled pale patches change the overall look more than small scratches.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, as they shape the look of a plain grayscale finish.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who use the MP5-SD regularly and want a camo that hides wear well.
• Budget buyers looking for a readable pattern at a lower grade.
• Conclusion: a practical everyday option for this skin.
