Show allAllSkin overview
Snow Splash is a black and white hydrographic camo, and in Well-Worn it takes on a dirtier, more used tone. The pale areas turn grayish and the protruding parts show visible paint loss, which suits the rough military character of the finish. It is an inexpensive way to get the winter look on a suppressed SMG.
Item type: smg. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The whole MP5-SD is covered in a grayscale hydrographic pattern of off-white areas broken up by sharp, angular dark gray and black splashes. The suppressor carries large dark patches with white streaks, while the ribbed handguard and receiver mix light and dark tones more evenly.
Paint loss is clearly visible on the suppressor, magazine edges, handguard ribs, sights and stock. The white areas take on a noticeably grayish, dirty tone and lose contrast with the dark splashes. In game the weapon looks worn but the camo pattern is still recognisable. The flat sides of the receiver and grip keep most of their print.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir MP5-SD | Snow Splash is 0–0.6; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir MP5-SD | Snow Splash belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white and silver stickers blend with the grayscale camo for a monochrome craft. A single red or bright accent sticker on the receiver stands out well against the neutral background.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low-float copy of a grade can look close to the next cleaner one.
- Look at the suppressor tip and magazine edges, as these parts show wear first.
- Compare how bright the white areas are, because dulled pale patches change the overall look more than small scratches.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, as they shape the look of a plain grayscale finish.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Players who like a used, dirty military look on a suppressed SMG.
- Buyers looking for an inexpensive entry into the winter camo.
- Conclusion: a low-cost option with a rough character.
