Show allAllSkin overview
MP7 | Just Smile in Battle-Scarred keeps its blue and purple palette and yellow accents, but the paint is heavily chipped across the weapon. The smiley and the lettering become patchy, and grey metal shows through on the rail, muzzle, grip and magazine. It suits players who like the beat-up street-art look pushed to the limit.
Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The base coat is a mottled teal-blue with purple and rusty pink patches that give the whole weapon a sprayed, weathered texture. The rear of the receiver carries a large yellow panel with a purple smiley face with crossed-out eyes, yellow paint dripping below it and scribbled yellow lettering with purple halftone dots around it.
Heavy chipping covers the rail, barrel, sights, grip and magazine, with grey metal showing through in large patches. The yellow panel and the smiley become patchy, and the lettering is partly lost. In game the weapon reads as a worn teal and yellow MP7 rather than a clean graffiti piece. Only the central areas of the side panels keep a solid layer of paint.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir MP7 | Just Smile ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Kilowatt Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Kilowatt Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Yellow, purple and teal stickers fit the artwork best, as do graffiti-style or smiley-themed designs. Placing them on the teal front part of the receiver keeps the yellow smiley panel visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the skin's float range covers every grade and a low value in a worn grade looks much cleaner.
- Look at the yellow panel and the smiley face on the inspect, because they define the skin and lose paint in the more worn grades.
- Do not mistake the printed grunge texture for real wear; compare the rail, muzzle and magazine edges instead.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the yellow side panel reads.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want the cheapest way to carry this MP7 skin.
- Fans of a heavily beaten street-art look.
- The entry option for those who accept a patchy smiley.
