Souvenir MP7 | Just Smile (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Just Smile covers the MP7 in a teal-blue and purple coat with a yellow smiley and scribbled lettering on the side of the receiver. In Field-Tested the first chips show along the top rail, the muzzle and the magazine edges, but the smiley itself still reads clearly. Because the finish is grungy by design, the wear looks like part of the graffiti rather than damage.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The base coat is a mottled teal-blue with purple and rusty pink patches that give the whole weapon a sprayed, weathered texture. The rear of the receiver carries a large yellow panel with a purple smiley face with crossed-out eyes, yellow paint dripping below it and scribbled yellow lettering with purple halftone dots around it.

Chips become visible on the top rail, the sights, the muzzle and the lower edges of the magazine and grip. The yellow panel may show the first small marks along its edges, while the smiley face is still intact. In game the weapon reads as a slightly rougher version of the same artwork. The centre of the yellow block and the flat side surfaces still look clean.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, purple and teal stickers fit the artwork best, as do graffiti-style or smiley-themed designs. Placing them on the teal front part of the receiver keeps the yellow smiley panel visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the skin's float range covers every grade and a low value in a worn grade looks much cleaner.
• Look at the yellow panel and the smiley face on the inspect, because they define the skin and lose paint in the more worn grades.
• Do not mistake the printed grunge texture for real wear; compare the rail, muzzle and magazine edges instead.
• Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the yellow side panel reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the full smiley artwork for everyday use.
• Buyers who like that wear blends into the grungy design.
• A practical middle ground for playing with this skin.
