Skin overview

The skin is built around a yellow smiley with crossed-out eyes, yellow tags and a mottled blue and purple base. At Well-Worn bare metal shows on many edges and the yellow panel starts to lose paint at its corners. The overall colour scheme stays recognisable in game, so the skin keeps its character at a lower cost.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The base coat is a mottled teal-blue with purple and rusty pink patches that give the whole weapon a sprayed, weathered texture. The rear of the receiver carries a large yellow panel with a purple smiley face with crossed-out eyes, yellow paint dripping below it and scribbled yellow lettering with purple halftone dots around it.

Bare metal shows clearly on the rail, the sights, the muzzle and around the magazine and grip edges. The yellow panel loses paint at its corners, and the drips and lettering start to break up. At normal distance the blue, purple and yellow scheme is still clear, though the weapon looks noticeably worn. The smiley face and the middle of the side panels hold up best.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir MP7 | Just Smile ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, purple and teal stickers fit the artwork best, as do graffiti-style or smiley-themed designs. Placing them on the teal front part of the receiver keeps the yellow smiley panel visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the skin's float range covers every grade and a low value in a worn grade looks much cleaner.
  • Look at the yellow panel and the smiley face on the inspect, because they define the skin and lose paint in the more worn grades.
  • Do not mistake the printed grunge texture for real wear; compare the rail, muzzle and magazine edges instead.
  • Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change how the yellow side panel reads.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want the colour scheme and the smiley at a lower cost.
  • Players who do not mind chipped edges on a deliberately rough design.
  • A sensible entry for those who value the style over cleanliness.
