Show allAllSkin overview
The skin's identity rests on contrast: a light cream body with grey line work against a solid red magazine. In Minimal Wear that contrast holds, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It gives nearly the full look of the cleanest grade at a more modest step up.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and barrel shroud are painted off-white and covered with thin grey panel lines, small hatches, technical labels and a few red letter markings that suggest the hull of a spacecraft. The front grip and pistol grip continue the cream finish, with small red dots on the front grip and black-and-white hazard stripes near the base of the pistol grip.
Small specks and light scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the receiver and around the magazine base. The panel lines and red markings remain fully readable. At normal distance in game it is very hard to tell apart from Factory New. Most of the body, grips and stock still look clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Airlock is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Gamma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Gamma 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, white and black stickers continue the skin's colour scheme and the technical, hazard-marking style. Small, clean designs placed on the flat receiver panels keep the line work readable, while busy multicoloured stickers tend to clash with the minimal palette.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the light paint makes every step of wear easy to see.
- Inspect the receiver edges, top rail and grip edges, which are the first places to scuff on this skin.
- Look at the magazine base and edges to see how much of the red finish is intact.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they stand out strongly against the pale body.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want an almost factory-clean look without paying for perfection.
- Sticker crafters for whom tiny edge marks do not matter.
- A sensible balance between appearance and cost for most buyers.
