MP9 | Army Sheen relies on a dark, low-contrast camo, which hides wear better than bright finishes. Because the float range stops early, Field-Tested copies sit at the clean end of that grade, with scuffs mostly on edges and the muzzle area while the pattern stays readable.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, top rail and barrel shroud are wrapped in a metallic foil with a mottled camouflage of dark green, olive and near-black patches. The same pattern continues onto the foregrip, pistol grip and magazine, giving the polymer parts a faint metallic sheen.
Scuffs become visible along the top rail, receiver edges and muzzle, and the grip ribs and magazine edges start to show lighter metal. The flat sides of the receiver and magazine still hold most of the camo. In game the wear blends into the mottled pattern and reads as a used service weapon rather than damage. The stock, being plain grey, changes little.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.3
The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Army Sheen is 0–0.3; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.3 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Control Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Field-Tested as the baseline, Factory New — 17× dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 11 skins of the MP9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted olive, black, gold or metallic stickers fit the military camo without breaking it up. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps the look tidy, while one bright accent can stand out against the dark base.
What to check before buying
- Compare the float within the grade, since the capped range keeps Field-Tested close to Minimal Wear.
- Inspect the muzzle end and top rail, where the foil wears off first.
- Check the grip ribs and magazine edges for exposed light metal.
- For souvenir copies, look at the condition and placement of the pre-applied stickers.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Budget buyers looking for an inexpensive skin for the MP9.
- Players who like a slightly used look that the dark camo hides well.
- Conclusion: a sensible entry point, since this grade stays close to the cleaner ones.
