Skin overview

This is a restrained military finish: dark green camo with a metallic glint, paired with a plain dark stock. At Minimal Wear it looks practically the same as the cleanest grade in game, with only faint marks on sharp edges visible up close.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, top rail and barrel shroud are wrapped in a metallic foil with a mottled camouflage of dark green, olive and near-black patches. The same pattern continues onto the foregrip, pistol grip and magazine, giving the polymer parts a faint metallic sheen.

Small light specks may appear on the muzzle end and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The grips and magazine usually remain clean. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice because the pattern is dark and busy. The sheen and colour depth are essentially unchanged.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Army Sheen is 0–0.3; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (27% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Control Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Muted olive, black, gold or metallic stickers fit the military camo without breaking it up. Placing them on the side of the receiver keeps the look tidy, while one bright accent can stand out against the dark base.
