Souvenir MP9 | Deadly Poison (Factory New)

Skin overview

MP9 | Deadly Poison is a Custom Paint Job finish with angular acid-green slashes over an olive-grey body and a stylized spider on the pistol grip. In Factory New the lime accents stay sharp against the darker grey shapes, and the edges of every stroke look crisp. This is the version where the bright front grip and the spider read the way the artwork was drawn.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is covered in an olive-grey base broken up by darker grey angular panels, with sharp lime-green slashes running along the top, the sides and towards the muzzle, and an MP9 marking in green on the side. The front vertical grip is the brightest part of the gun, painted almost entirely in acid green with dark diagonal stripes.

The paint is intact on every part, from the muzzle to the stock. Lime slashes have clean edges, and the spider on the grip is fully sharp. In game the green accents look vivid even at normal distance. The front grip keeps its full saturation.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir MP9 | Deadly Poison ranges from 0 to 1; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir MP9 | Deadly Poison belongs to The Chroma Collection, which holds 14 skins.

It drops from Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Lime, neon green and black stickers continue the poison theme, while holo or foil in green tones match the bright front grip. Placing stickers on the grey receiver panels keeps the lime slashes visible, and spider, insect or toxic motifs fit the artwork.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the front grip and muzzle show the difference first.
• Inspect the spider on the pistol grip, as it is the detail most buyers notice on worn copies.
• Look at the condition of the lime slashes on the top edges of the receiver.
• Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it carries stickers or a name tag.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the sharpest version of the green slashes and the spider.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a green-themed design.
• Conclusion: the choice for maximum clarity of the artwork.
