Show allAllSkin overview
Modest Threat pairs warm orange with black lines and markings, giving the compact SMG a utilitarian, workshop look. In Field-Tested the paint starts to show use along the edges and raised parts, which suits the hand-painted style. The 01 and the overall orange-and-black scheme remain clearly readable.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is painted orange with dark horizontal stripes and a grey-black top section, and its side carries a dark panel with a white 01 and small markings. The front of the gun, including the foregrip, follows the same orange base with black ribbed striping, while the muzzle stays dark.
Scuffs become visible along the top edges of the receiver, the muzzle end, the ribs of the foregrip and the bottom of the magazine. The orange looks slightly duller where wear gathers, and some fine markings lose sharpness. The side of the receiver and the 01 panel are still largely clean. At normal distance the design reads clearly with a lightly used feel.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Modest Threat ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Danger Zone Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Danger Zone Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white, grey or orange stickers continue the industrial look of the finish. Placing them on the receiver away from the 01 panel keeps the main marking visible, and small technical or text-style stickers fit the existing markings well.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more orange on the edges.
- Inspect the muzzle end, the foregrip ribs and the base of the magazine, as these show paint loss first.
- Check whether the white 01 on the receiver is intact, because it is the key detail of the design.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the receiver side looks.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a lightly used look that fits the hand-painted style.
- Buyers looking for an affordable everyday MP9 with a readable design.
- Conclusion: a balanced option for regular play.
