Show allAllSkin overview
Because the float range of this skin ends early, Battle-Scarred copies sit at its very top rather than in deep damage. The blue mosaic remains visible on most of the body, with heavier chipping on edges, ribs and the top of the receiver. It is the cheapest way to get the stained-glass pattern on the MP9.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, both grips and the area around the barrel are covered in a mosaic of blue glass shards in several shades, outlined by dark lines like the leading in a church window. The front vertical grip carries a red and purple tint that breaks up the blue, and the grip ribs show lighter silver accents.
Heavier chipping covers the top rail, muzzle area, edges and grip ribs, with more bare metal on the receiver. Since the range ends early, the mosaic is not stripped away and still covers most of the body. The red tint on the front grip remains visible through the wear. In game it reads as a worn blue gun rather than a bare one.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5
The float of Souvenir MP9 | Stained Glass ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Canals Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Blue, holographic and red stickers echo the glass shards and the tinted front grip. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the mosaic on the grips visible. Silver or foil stickers match the chipped metal on worn copies.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show fewer silver chips.
- Inspect the top rail, muzzle end and grip ribs, as these parts lose colour first.
- For a Souvenir copy, look at which stickers are applied and how they sit on the receiver.
- Look for a name tag if you want a specific display name or a clean listing without one.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this pattern on the MP9.
- Players fine with heavy edge chipping since the mosaic still covers most of the body.
- Conclusion: the cheapest way to own the stained-glass look.
