Skin overview

Stained Glass is built on a dense blue mosaic, and that pattern hides light wear well. In Field-Tested small silver chips start showing on the top rail, the muzzle area and the ribs of both grips, while the shards themselves still read clearly. It keeps the recognisable glass look at a more relaxed grade.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, both grips and the area around the barrel are covered in a mosaic of blue glass shards in several shades, outlined by dark lines like the leading in a church window. The front vertical grip carries a red and purple tint that breaks up the blue, and the grip ribs show lighter silver accents.

Silver chips become noticeable along the top rail, the muzzle end and the ribs of both grips. Edges of the receiver start to lose colour in small patches. The large flat areas of the mosaic and the red grip tint still read well. In game the busy pattern hides most of this wear.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir MP9 | Stained Glass is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir MP9 | Stained Glass belongs to The Canals Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue, holographic and red stickers echo the glass shards and the tinted front grip. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the mosaic on the grips visible. Silver or foil stickers match the chipped metal on worn copies.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show fewer silver chips.
  • Inspect the top rail, muzzle end and grip ribs, as these parts lose colour first.
  • For a Souvenir copy, look at which stickers are applied and how they sit on the receiver.
  • Look for a name tag if you want a specific display name or a clean listing without one.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the full mosaic look in matches at a moderate grade.
  • Buyers who accept small chips that the busy pattern hides well.
  • Conclusion: a balanced option for everyday play.
